Lalun brings world music to Woody Point

Lalun is a world music ensemble featuring Liron Man, Lan Tung, and Jonathan Bernard that made its way to Woody Point in the summer of 2015 for a performance with Gros Morne Summer Music. The trio draws influence from music from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, with instruments like hand pans, various percussion, and erhu (a Chinese instrument, sortof like a violin).

We met up with Liron, Lan, and Jonathan before their performance at St. Pat’s to record this Old Crow Music Session.

This is their original composition called A Little Beat Different. Learn more about Lalun here.

Lalun performed in Woody Point as a part of the Gros Morne Summer Music 2015 season. Find out more about the Gros Morne Summer Music festival at
