Steve Maloney and the Wandering Kind perform In Spring live on a fishing boat

When I met up with Steve Maloney during Writers at Woody Point and we started planning on shooting an Old Crow Music Session, I asked “where would you like to film it?” He responded by pointing at the fishing boat docked next to the Royal Canadian Legion and said “how about on that boat?”

The boat was the Nicole Daniel, a familiar site to anyone who has visited the town (and anyone who watched the Discovery television show Cold Water Cowboys), captained by Todd Young. A huge thanks to Todd and his crew, who were incredibly accommodating as we wandered about the boat.

Here Steve Maloney is joined by two members of his band The Wandering Kind, Jen Bensen and Amy Joy. This song is called In Spring.
